Milestone for the Enso Energy-Cero Generation Partnership
This month Winchester City Council and East Hampshire District Council have, separately, resolved to grant planning permissions for our cross boundary Denmead Solar Farm applications. The applications for the site north of Portsmouth have been thoroughly assessed and amended since submission in February 2022 with both Councils’ committee members following their Officer’s Recommendation. The project, which will connect to the National Grid Lovedean substation, will make a meaningful contribution to the UK’s Clean Power 2030 and net zero targets, generating electricity to supply the equivalent demand of over 12,300 homes.
This success marks the 20th Planning Consent for the Enso Energy team since we started our relationship with Cero Generation.
