Enso Energy is excited to announce that four of our solar PV projects, totalling 164MWac, have been awarded Contracts For Difference (CFDs) in Allocation Round 6 (AR6). This achievement marks a significant milestone in our efforts to accelerate the UK’s transition to renewable energy.
CFDs are a key mechanism employed by the UK government to promote the expansion of renewable energy by providing investors with greater predictability of returns. This support is crucial in driving the widespread adoption of clean energy technologies.
We are proud to be working in close partnership with Cero Generation, our Joint Venture Partner, on all four successful projects, which include:
- Adur Valley Solar Farm
- Gunthorpe Road Solar Farm
- Bramley Solar Farm
- Rayleigh Fobbing Solar Farm
Commenting on the success, Managing Director, Bill Rees said:
“The momentum behind renewable energy development in the UK is stronger than ever, and the latest Allocation Round further fuels that progress. It is fantastic to see Enso and Cero secure CFDs for these four projects, adding to the success of our four projects from previous allocation rounds. I’m incredibly proud of our teams’ dedication as we work toward supporting the UK Government’s aim of Clean Power 2030 through these great projects”
