On 26th November 2024, the Planning Inspectorate allowed our Appeal and granted planning permission for the Southlands Solar Farm project near Wickford, Essex. The solar farm will produce enough electricity to power over 6,000 homes and the co-located BESS will provide vital energy storage and support services in the drive to Clean Power 2030.
This is our 21st planning permission in our partnership with Cero Generation, and brings Enso’s success rate for planning applications to 87.5%.
